I visit the WW1 Battlefields of France and Belgium 3 or 4 times each year. I will certainly pay William's memorial a visit at 'Plugstreet' and attach a poppy to his name... We WILL Remember!
Thank you
Thank you to your great uncle William who gave the ultimate sacrifice in defending our freedom.
I was not even born when this war was on, but I will always be eternally greatful that these brave men gave their lives so that other generations could enjoy their lives without fear.
i just want to say thank you to William and all the brave men and women who defend us and lose their lifes.
from the bottom of my heart Thankyou to you and your familes xxx
'Life is a garden,
Good friends are the flowers.
And time spent together...
are life's happiest hours
And friendships like flowers,
blooms ever more fair...
when carefully tended
by dear friends who care.'
GOD BLESS YOU WILLIAM .REST IN PEACE
I offer my condolences to you and your family and to all of those who lost family in the great war. Such brave young men, all taken to young. I myself have a few family members who lost their lives in Ypres and a couple with no known grave.
Much love
Helen
